Nike Structure 25 Review

Welcome back to Flawless Shoe Reviews! Today we’re diving into one of the most structured shoes Nike has to offer — the Nike Structure 25. It’s definitely one of their best options if you’re looking for arch support and stability, but it also feels a little different from your typical stability shoe. Let’s break down what makes it work — and what might not be for everyone.

What’s the Cushioning Like?

At the heart of the Structure 25 is Cushlon 3.0 foam. It’s a firm midsole, so when you land, you don’t really sink into it much — instead, you hit the ground and bounce straight back out.

Here’s what you get in terms of specs:

  • 37mm in the heel
  • 27mm in the forefoot
  • 10mm heel-to-toe drop
  • Around 322g for a US men’s size 9

So yep, it’s on the heavier side, but that’s pretty normal for a stability shoe with this much structure.

If you’re someone who loves that soft, sink-in feel — like what you get in something like the Gel Kayano 32 — this might feel a bit too firm. But if you want something that holds your foot steady and supports every step, this could be a perfect match.

Real Arch Support (That You’ll Actually Feel)

One of the first things I noticed is the built-in arch support. As soon as you slide your foot in, you feel it pressing up under your arch. Now, that’s not going to be for everyone — but if you’re someone who likes feeling that bit of pressure and support, you’ll love this.

The firmness of the cushioning also means the arch support doesn’t just disappear when you move. You feel it all the way from heel strike to toe-off, which can really help if you’re dealing with overpronation or just want a shoe that keeps your foot in check.

How Stable Is It?

Very! Alongside the arch support, there’s a heel clip that wraps around the back of your ankle. That’s there to help control your foot as you land — especially if you tend to roll inwards.

Then at the front of the shoe, you’ve got a broad forefoot base. That just gives you a bit more confidence and control as you push off.

So from heel to toe, the Structure 25 is designed to help guide your foot and keep it centred.

Fit and Upper Feel

The upper is pretty comfy — here’s what stood out:

  • Wide forefoot — there’s loads of room for your toes to spread out
  • True to size — no need to size up or down
  • Tapered toe shape — feels secure, but if you’ve got a wider foot near the toes, it might feel snug at the very front
  • Well-padded tongue — non-gusseted but stays in place
  • Heel collar — padded but flexible, so good for anyone with sensitive Achilles

All in all, it feels secure and roomy in the right places. I didn’t have any issues with rubbing or pressure, and the heel area felt soft and comfortable.

How Does It Perform?

For Walking & Lifestyle:

Honestly, I think this shoe is excellent for everyday walking. Whether you’re commuting, walking the dog, or on your feet for long stretches — the structure and support really help reduce fatigue. It’s firm but not harsh, and that arch support is a huge bonus if you need it.

For Running:

When it comes to running, it’s more of a cruiser than a speed shoe. You’re not going to get that bounce or snap like in a GT-2000 13, but it feels a bit more responsive than something super soft like the Adrenaline GTS 24. If you’re doing slower runs, recovery miles, or just want a stable daily trainer, it does the job really well.
